He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Galen and Irma Galen (Schwab); his wife Bonnie Alexa; and his sister-in-law Shirley Galen. He is survived by: his children, Robert Galen (Paulette) of Knox and Laura Smith (Kevin) of Tinley Park, IL; his grandchildren, Emily Cullen (Joey), Hannah Galen and Trent Smith; his great grandchildren, Caleb Cullen and Theo Cullen; and his brother Stanley Galen.
