Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carol Sue Butgereit (Plymouth, Indiana), who passed away at the age of 79, on August 30, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Berger and Dorothy Berger (Ritchey); her daughters, Lori Kulczar, Kathy Hummel and Kara Brown; and her brothers, Robert and Michael Berger.

She is survived by: her husband Carl Butgereit; her sons, Gary Hummel (Clista) of Bremen and Kurt Butgereit (Nancy) of Wabash, IN; her son-in-law Tim Kulczar of Bremen; and her brother Kris Berger (Kim). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

“In loving memory of Carol Sue Butgereit, Carol and I spent one day each week from 2010 through 2013 while I was living in Marshall County. Most days we spent making her delicious cinnamon buns; sometimes we would get the rolls all ready to rise and leave them while we ran an errand while they were rising. We loved sharing time together whatever we did; trips to Mishawaka; drives anywhere; I will miss knowing she is no longer on this earth..I loved her so much! What a breath of fresh air!!!”
