He is survived by: his spouse Beth Mengel; his son Jayson Trost; his daughter-in-law Stephanie; his grandsons, Noah and Luke; his sister Beverly Krieg of Pendleton; his nephew Brian Krieg; his niece Julie Baldwin; his friends, Bob Messersmith and Karen Messersmith; and also, Ron and Jeanne Ringer of Lakeville. He is also survived by many cousins, and countless loving friends.
