She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Roush and Ruth Phillips; her husband Robert L. Stopper; and her siblings, Gene Roush and Phyllis Dolph.

She is survived by: her sisters, Sallie Becherl of North Liberty and Sharon Grady McKay of Ft. Wayne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
