She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Wicks and Edna Wicks (Gleason); and her siblings, Joel Wicks, Alice Wicks, Willard Wicks, Edith Wicks, Theola Wicks, Clifford Wicks, Charlotte Wicks and Donna Wicks.

She is survived by: her former husband Carl Hirstein; her husband LeRoy Geyer; her children, Dale Hirstein (Erie) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Paul Hirstein (Kathleen) of Valparaiso, Indiana, Craig Hirstein of Bremen, Indiana and Darlene Ervin (Jeff) of Bremen, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Kimberly Bowling, Patrick Hirstein, Jeannie Scott, Christian Hirstein, Jordan Hirstein (Anne), Taylor Hirstein (Alexandria), Braden Hirstein, Callie Hirstein, Holli Shively (Steve) and Corey Ervin; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Katie Jo, Jason, Ethan, Britne, Abbey, Kaelyn, Ashton, Mikayla, Alexia and McKinley; and her great great grandchildren, Ava and Nova.
