He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold "Mel" McHargue and Margaurite "Maggie" Gaines; and his brothers, Tiny and Chuck McHargue. He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his sons, Eli and Jesse; his sisters, Ruth Clemons (Ed), Nancy Ames (Kevin), Dawn Sellers (John) and Tina Bunton (Don); his mother-in-law Judy Pratz; his in-laws, Russell Johnson, Dennis Johnson (Lana), Sue Harper (Dale) and Tom Johnson; his uncle John Gaines (Jan Moore); and his aunt Marjorie Yeargin. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
