It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brittain Gordon (Pleasant Lake, Indiana), born in Bryan, Ohio, who passed away on May 6, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle L. Gordon and Lamoille Gordon (Brittain); his son Donald Bowers; his granddaughter Theresa Bowers; his sister Sue Ann Harvey; and his nephew Douglas Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda B. Paxton; and his children, Robert Bowers (Tamara) of Ney, Pamela Prince (Jim) of Angola, Cynthia Hesselschwardt (Jerry) of Ney, Michael Gordon of Bryan and Michelle Alexander (Stephen) of Reading, Michigan. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial.
