She was predeceased by: her father Robert Norman Smith; her brother-in-law Daniel Alexander; her grandparents, Edgar and Marjorie Horst; and her uncle Larry Horst.
She is survived by: her mother Judith A. Smith (Horst); her daughter Joslynn East (Jeremy) of Fort Branch In; her grandson Shane East; and her siblings, Jeff Sanders (Nancy) of Edwardsport In and Sue Alexander of Plainville In. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
