He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Pruett and Mary Pruett; his wife Betty Pruett; and his brothers, Billy, John R., Lloyd and Marshall Pruett.
He is survived by: his children, John Pruett (Christina), Trish Spicer (Russ) and Beth Pruett; and his brother Donald Pruett. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Danville, Indiana (600 N. Washington St.) or the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653.
