He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sommers and Ruby Sommers; his sister Juanita Sommers; and his grandchildren, Ashley and Cody Stevenson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hickman Sommers; his children, Monte Sommers (Christy) and Susan Orr (David); his grandchildren, Blake Sommers (Calean), Bryce Sommers (Mariah), Carly Sommers and Dustin Stevenson (Kaylee); and his great grandchildren, Tucker, Walker Sommers, Farrah, Bentlee Stevenson and Grant Orr.
