He was predeceased by: his mother Mardena Hess Austermiller. He is survived by: his wife Jane E. Nielson of Plainfield; his children, Debra Lynn Nielson, Kirk Allen Nielson (Carmie) and Jeffrey Martin Nielson (Lori); and his grandchildren, Michael Giovanoni, Zachary Nielson, Blake Nielson, Grace Nielson and Andrew Nielson.
