He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph C. Russell and Marie Russell (Branson); his son Steven A. Russell; and his siblings, Marlene Brock and Ralph Junior Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy McKemey Russell (Dot); and his children, Linda S. Thompson of Plainfield, Myra Hanna (Tom) of Plainfield, Douglas Russell (Melissa) of Mooresville and Glenda Torrence (Mella) of Bastrop, Texas.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his favorite charity, the Alzheimer's Association.
