He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Max Sumners and Evelyn Muncy Sumners; and his sister Joyce Fugate. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas McKinney, Linda Withrow, David McKinney and Deborah Shuler; and his sons, Sean, Matthew and Chadwick.
