He is survived by: his wife Patricia Diane Hartung (Heartwell); his sons, Howard K. (Theresia Hess) and Christopher D. Hartung; his brother Steve Hartung (Gloria); and his grandchildren, Brian Hartung, Krista Smith (Tim Picco), Elizabeth Hartung, Natalie Hartung, Elijah Hartung, Ryan Clark (Amy), Travis Clark (Christine), Kevin Clark, Caitlin Clark (Mike Pratt), Ashley Hartung (Brian Lloyd) and Courtney Spence (Evan). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.
