He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Fox of Fishers, Teresa Flinchum (Danny) of Franklin and Stephanie Mundy (KC) of Coatesville; his grandchildren, Meagan, Savannah, Daniel, Dalton, Logan, Zachary, Jeslyn and Joey; his siblings, Darrell, Larry, Jerry, Rodney Welty, Ronnie Stevens, Betsy Keith and Jenny Harper; his friend JoAnn Bray; and his pet Candy. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.

“Robert n I became friends for a few days at the end. He let me play w his pup while I talked w him. He was excited to meet my friend CJ for a brief minute while in rehab. Well he has left n CJ is now leaving this world n so I know there’s two beautiful angels! I’m so sorry for your loss I was a bit suprised by his passing as I came back in - I know he’s in a better place n I’m so sorry for your loss! What little I knew he n CJ would’ve been good buddies my heart goes out to you”
