He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Purkiser; his sister Kelley Ellis; and his grandparents, Ruth and Everett Catt. He is survived by: his wife Lori; his children, Ryan and Kayla Pierce (Brandon); his sisters, Eve Swartzentruber and Erica Young; and his grandchildren, Hudson, Rowan and Dalton. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
