She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Edward Wissen and L. Grace Wissen (Hamilton); and her brother Stanley "Eddie" Edward Wissen II. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Hobson; her daughters, Kateri Burnett (Hugh) and Dawn Saffel (Bob); her grandchildren, Chris Burnett (Alicia), Brin Hamblin and Sarah Deaton (Tyler); her great grandchild Camden Burnett; her niece Candra "Candy" Jacks (John); and her pet Tucker.
In lieu of flowers, donations may also be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Plainfield Humane Society in her memory.
