She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul "Pete" Swisher and Louise Swisher (Duncan); and her sister Janet Mackenzie. She is survived by: her husband Vincent Herbert "Herb" Schelm of Plainfield; her sons, Eric Schelm (Annie) of Plainfield and Tony Schelm (LaVennia Foxx) of Monrovia; her brother Charles "Bud" Swisher (Jackie) of Mooresville; her grandchildren, Sarah Marks of Mooresville, Erica Monjaraz (Israel) of Plainfield, Anna Newton (Dustin) of Trafalgar, Kyle Ledeboer of Pheonix, AZ and Erica Howarth (David) of Leesburg, VA; and her great grandchildren, Arleigh, Briar, Camellia, Dalia, Jordyn, Julian and Gwendolyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel (585 E Main St, Monrovia, IN 46157). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
