She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob DeGroot and Hattie DeGroot (Harkema); her husband Michael Pappas; and her sister Joan Klepper. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Pappas and Joni Pappas-Butts (Keith); her grandchildren, Jeremiah Pappas (Kristin), Nicole Pappas, Michael Pappas, Heather Laycock (Jordan), Cassandra DeWitt and Craig Ray (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Madison, Olivia, Araya, Cason, Hattie, Henry and Lorelai. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home (106 Shaw St, Plainfield, IN 46168). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
