It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merl C. Rentschler of Plainfield, Indiana, born in Clay City, Indiana, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Rentschler and Bessie Rentschler; and his siblings, Bill Rentschler, Cleve Rentschler, Charlie Rentschler and Evelyn Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Nettie Lou; and his daughters, Teresa Grismore (Rocky) and Jeannine Medvescek. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
