We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2023, at the age of 92, Mary E. Merkley of Plainfield, Indiana, born in Saint Anthony, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Gish and Rosa Julianna Klem Gish; and her husband Ralph E. Merkley. She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Buehler (Ted), Terry Merkley, Cathy Chrietzberg (Stephen), Diana Snyder (Dan), Marty Weinbrecht, Ron Merkley, Rita Merkley (James Lackey) and David Merkley (Candice Copeland); and her sister Agnes Gish Merkley.
