He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmas Ping and Georgia Ping (Martin); and his brother Charles "Chuck" Ping. He is survived by: his close friend Maria Osuna; his sons, Brian and Jeff Ping; his sisters, Charlotte Cameran (Dennis) of South Carolina and Bessie Paulina Fuller of Florida; and his aunts, Geraldine Starrett of Indianapolis and Lena Earl of Indianapolis.
