We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2023, at the age of 86, Karen R. Nelson of Plainfield, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Nelson (Tony); her parents, Chester Scott and Sara; her son Scott Nelson; and her brothers, Corwin and Russell Scott.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Huffman (Gerry) and Brenda Boyd (Leon); her stepson Tony Nelson (Sylvia); her daughter-in-law Mindy Nelson; and her sister Sonya Fetter. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association or the American Cancer Society.
