It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Johnny R. Garrison of Plainfield, Indiana, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Garrison and Neta Garrison (Brown); and his brothers, Larry Garrison and Sammy Garrison. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Bruce Garrison (Deborah) and Rhonda Garrison; and his grandchildren, Coen Garrison (Alyssa), Josiah Garrison (Tanvi Doshi) and Bethany Garrison.

“Johnny Garrison was a good friend to my dad while at Southwood A/G in Greenwood. They had such good times together, it was a very special time for my dad. Johnny would also stop by our church in Frankfort that my husband Paul pastored to see how we were doing on his way back from Lafayette. And Johnny and Betty surprised my family and mother when he came to my dad's funeral in Bedford, IN. We asked him on the spot to be one of four speakers that day. Great man, great pastor.
