With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Lewis of Plainfield, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lewis and Lillian Lewis (McMullen); his brother Dick Lewis; and his great grandchild Owen Matthew Deakin. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Lewis (Hedrick); his daughters, Alice Lewis (Tim Starke), Karen Wethington (Pete), Becky Markland (Scott) and Kathy Lewis; and his siblings, Mariam Cheshire, Edward "Buddy" Lewis (Susan) and Nancy Crawford (Buford Taylor). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
