She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Pierson and Ruth Ladd Pierson; her husband Robert J. Thompson; her brothers, John W. Pierson and James M. Pierson; her son-in-law Jeff Rubin; and her friend John C. "Jack" Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Kristi Rubin, Steve Thompson and Cathie Brown; her grandchildren, Ben Brown Rachel Zimmerman (Dylan), Jacob Brown, Jared Brown and Emily Myers (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Brayden and Gavin Brown; and her siblings, Nancy Bill (Brent) and Charles Ladd Pierson (Fran). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
