He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Knapp and Suzanne Smotherman (Decker). He is survived by: his daughter Brook Haven (Doug); his stepchildren, Jessica Woolen (Matthew) and Jason Pershing (Elizabeth); his siblings, Steve Knapp (Maria) and Amy Williams (Willie); his stepsister Leslie Johnson (Scott); his grandchildren, Lilly Links, Parker Gentry, Aidan Woolen, Lily Haven and Austin Haven; and his former wife Rita Knapp.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Avon Light and Life Free Methodist Church (8264 E County Rd 100 S, Avon, IN 46123). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
