It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice E. Miethe of Plainfield, Indiana, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hulon Simpson and Barbara Simpson (Jamison); her husband Gerald E. Miethe; her sister Maye Webb; and her brother-in-law Russ Perkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Short (Tony) of Paragon, IN; her grandchildren, Michaela Richardson (Allen), Michael Short, Damian Short and Jerilyn Short; her great grandchildren, Lukas Seals and Kingston Richardson; and her siblings, Sherry Anderson (Jimmy) of Mooresville, Jodi Perkins of Bargersville, Leisha Buck (Kenny) of Franklin and Otha Simpson (Marsha) of Indianapolis.
