It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Hood of Plainfield, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher York and Bessie Townsend York. She is survived by: her husband Allen Hood of Plainfield; her children, Donnell Hood (Kirt Schlegel) and Bryan Hood (Karyn); her grandchildren, Bryanna, Cheyanne and Korbyn Hood; and her siblings, Carolyn Carter (Steve), Cheryl Moore (late Albert), Francine Herron (Chuck), Terry York (Julie), Gary York (Kelly), Emma Hamilton (Brad) and Bonnie Bennett (Roger). She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
