It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Louise McCarty of Plainfield, Indiana, born in Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Charles Edward; and her siblings, Donald Neal and Charlotte Everroad. She is survived by: her sons, Brian of Plainfield, IN, Mark of Plainfield, IN and Jack McCarty, Jr. (Diane) of Plainfield, IN; and her siblings, Jerry Neal (Sherry) of Cumberland Gap, TN and Trishie Clark of Martinsville, IN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
