It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet L. Galyan of Plainfield, Indiana, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet L. Galyan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marshall and Ruth Marie Stierwalt (Ross); and her former husbands, Edward LaPorte and James Galyan. She is survived by: her children, Michael LaPorte (Laura) of Plainfield and Michele LaPorte of Plainfield; her sister Jane Willett (Steve) of Mooresville; her grandchildren, Alexis Johantgen (Josh) of Plainfield, Anthony LaPorte (Kelci) of New Albany, Austin LaPorte of Carmel and Ashton LaPorte of Plainfield; and her great grandchildren, Colton, Kaley and Kylie.
