She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Huckelberry and Kathryn Huckelberry (Hook); her husband Ernest H. Holmes; and her son David. She is survived by: her grandchild Cindra O'Brien; her children, Markol Holmes and Cindra O'Brien of Plainfield; her sister Carolyn Jones (Norman) of Vienna, IL; and her grandchildren, Jeremy O'Brien (Megan) of Plainfield, Jennifer Duncan (Michael) of Brownsburg, Kyle Holmes (Rachel) of Camby and Joshua Carver (Kathryn) of Dauphin, PA.
Helen had lost her sight, so the family asks in lieu of flowers to donate to the Glaucoma Foundation at glaucomafoundation.org.
