It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen L. Dawes of Plainfield, Indiana, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Cubert and Grace Cubert (Chappell); her husband Cecil L. Dawes; and her son Donald L. Dawes. She is survived by: her daughters, Diana L. Kepler (Thomas) and Debra L. Burton (Benjamin); and her grandchildren, Michael Burton, Staci Laing (John), Brent Dawes (Heather), Brittany Butts (Nick), Courtney Schulz (Adam) and Brooke Morphis (Chris). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home (106 Shaw St, Plainfield, IN 46168). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ben Davis Christian Church or the Muscular Distrophy Association (MDA).
