He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Heard and Mildred Roehl Heard; and his sister Virginia Brower. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Nooe Heard; his children, Rodney Heard (Amanda), Gary Heard and Krista Heard; his siblings, Sandra Tidd Imelda (James), Vest, Teresa Blankenship and Steve Heard; and his grandchildren, Cody and Makenzie Heard.
