He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Kortepeter (Walker) and Theodore Kortepeter; and his brother Paul Kortepeter. He is survived by: his wife Karen J. Kortepeter of Plainfield; his children, Megan Siler of Pendleton and Nick Kortepeter of Zionsville; his sisters, Louise Plummer of Greenwood, Ruth Alberts (Jim) of Indianapolis and Carol Kortepeter of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Ella, Hadley and Owen Kortepeter; and his sister Joann Rodarmel.
