He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Murat and Violet Murat (Smith); his siblings, Barbara, Harold and Dale; and his son Randal Murat.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Earlene Murat (Boltz); and his children, Cynthia Murat and Rex Murat (Jill). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
