He was predeceased by: his parents, David J. Johnston and Mary Naughton Johnston; and his siblings, Robert and Patricia. He is survived by: his children, David, Daniel, Dennis and Carrie; and his siblings, George and Mary Ellen. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
