Darrell S. Chappell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell S. Chappell of Plainfield, Indiana, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick Chappell and Martha Chappell (Largent); and his daughter Michelle Dickerson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Chappell (Burt) of Plainfield; his daughters, Rebecca Coffey (Mark) of Mooresville and Stephanie Chappell (Rodney) of Mooresville; his sisters, Mary Harper (Dave) of Lebanon, Diane Martin (Larry) of Thorntown and Elizabeth Welcher of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah Dickerson, Myah Chappell, Matthew and Benjamin Coffey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
