He was predeceased by: his parents, George Atkinson and Mabel Atkinson (Medo); his son Ronald D. Atkinson (Ronnie); his wife Carol J. Atkinson (Davis); and his brothers, Lester Martin, Charles "Butch" Davis (Mary Ann), Robert Davis (Wanda), Mick Davis (Sandy) and Fred Davis (Sharon).
He is survived by: his children, Loran K. Atkinson (Gary) and Carolyn L. "Lori" Wodtke (Steve); his grandchildren, Heather (Wodtke), Jayson Wodtke and Derek Wodtke (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Hailey, Colton, Lincoln, Jolene, Rosie and Elaina; his sisters, Marietta Martin and Kathleen Wilkey (Don); and his sister-in-law Connie Wigley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
