He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Smith and Mildred Smith (Cummins); his wife Judith Smith; his sister Marjorie York; and his granddaughter Erin Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Darrin Smith (Ann), Andrew Smith (Kelly), Michelle Sharp (Larry) and Leanne Moore (Richard); and his siblings, Larry Smith (Linda) and Linda Harris (Bill). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home (106 Shaw St, Plainfield, IN 46168). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
