He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Smith; his parents, Arley Smith and Ella Smith; and his sister Noramae Ladd. He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Heintze (Charles), Deborah Ratz (James) and Jeanne Hoogerwerf (Richard); his grandchildren, Anne Rice and Khristine Meyer; and his great grandchildren, Juliette, William, Ella Rice and James Meyer.
