It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Flanigan of Plainfield, Indiana, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Rose and Opaleigh South Rose; and her husband Thomas E. Flanigan. She is survived by: her brother James Rose (Joyce); and her children, James Flanigan (Helen) and Janice Hakes. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home (1605 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 1140 N State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46142.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's Association.
