“It is with great sadness that I write this today. My heartfelt condolences and sincerest sympathy go out to her family. Anne and I met and spent a year in Madrid, Spain together in 1983 as exchange students. We became fast and great friends during our adventure. I spent many holidays at her family’s home as a guest after our year in Madrid. She visited me in Costa Rica and in Indiana, too. A wonderfully sweet and good person, whom I will miss terribly. Soar with the angels, sweet Anne.”
