With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommy Smith of Pittsboro, Indiana, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Smith and Bessie Smith (Lovins); his brother Roy Smith; and his parents-in-law, Herman and Florence Ragsdale.

He is survived by: his nephews, Michael Garland and Todd Smith; his wife Jane E Smith (Ragsdale); his son Ty Smith; his daughter-in-law Tina Smith; his grandson Andrew McKinney; and his siblings, Loretta Garland (Floyd), Thelma Beringer, Joan Mohr (Chuck), Glenn Smith (Malinda) and Carl Smith (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
