He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Herald and Helen Herald-Jamieson; his son Matthew Scott Herald; and his brother Greg Jamieson. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Herald; his daughter Melissa Harpold; his grandchildren, Austin Herald, Sara Harpold and Kayden Scott Harpold; and his siblings, Doug Herald (Sandy) and Vicki Endicott (Mark). He is also survived by his many cousins and several nieces and nephews.
