She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter and Pearl "Pearlie" Whitaker (Burdine); her husband Ray; her son Jimmie; her son-in-law Jim Ragsdale; and her siblings, Orpha, Marl, Scoble, Ron, Carlos and Jerry.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Ragsdale, Donald Carlton (Janet) and Anita Marsh (David); and her daughter-in-law Shirley Carlton. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
