With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Mitchell of Pittsboro, Indiana, born in Whitestown, Indiana, who passed away on February 10, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bailey and Ruby Bailey (Woodard); and her brothers, Kenneth, Robert, Walter, Lowell and Richard.
She is survived by: her husband Myron Mitchell; her children, Phyllis Cooper (Wayne) and Dennis Mitchell (Ronda); and her brother Lawrence. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Phi Beta Psi Sorority, in loving memory of Marilyn.
