He was predeceased by: his father Ray Carlton; and his brother-in-law Jim Ragsdale. He is survived by: his mother Norma Carlton (Whitaker); his wife Shirley Carlton (Scharbrough); his daughters, Angel Pittman (Brian) and Nancy Carlton; his grandchildren, Brittany Carlton (Zack King), Bryce Dickey and Briana Pittman; his great grandchildren, Ellyana, Leah, Jocelyn, Lathan and Bella; and his siblings, Doris Ragsdale, Donald Carlton (Janet) and Anita Marsh (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Out of an abundance of caution for those who are of advanced age and autoimmune deficiencies, it is requested that all who attend the visitation and funeral wear masks while indoors.
