She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Garland and Essie Garland (Ragan); her husband Robert Ashby; her daughter Susan; and her siblings, Violet McClaine, Helen Plunkett, Gladys Graham, Marie Haffner, Eldon, Elmer and Ed Garland.
She is survived by: her son Phillip Ashby (Pam); her granddaughters, Haley and Maddie Ashby; her brother Floyd Garland (Loretta); and also Walter Bailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be made to The National Kidney Foundation and The American Heart Association.
