As Douglas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Douglas. Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Beauregard and Julia West (Aslan); and his siblings, Quinton West, Roger West and Rachel West.
He is survived by: his children, David West and Diane Schuessler. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and his three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Eric MD Bell Funeral Home (220 N Maple St, Pittsboro, IN 46167). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery.
